But the most visible effect is the creation of rich, deep color and a high shine.
How often should I apply car wax?
Every two to three months, depending on the type of wax you use. Paste and liquid waxes last longer than spray waxes. Your climate also makes a difference: If you do not park under shelter, if the average temperature in your region is hot, if your car is exposed to a lot of droppings, tree sap, or blowing sand, or if your car’s finish faces any other kinds of abuse, you should apply wax more often. To tell for certain, watch how water beads on your car.

Is there much plastic on your car? Porous, matte plastic, especially dark plastic, reacts badly with some car waxes and acquires a conspicuous residue that may take special cleaners to remove. If your car has a lot of visible plastic, make sure the wax you choose is compatible with plastic.
How durable do you want the car wax to be, and how long are you willing to spend in applying it? In a Consumer Reports comparison test, liquid waxes lasted the longest and cleaned the best. However, because they took extra time to spread evenly and without streaking, they took the longest to apply. Spray on waxes were the least durable and did the worst job at cleaning, but they were also the quickest and easiest to apply.

, you use, as well as the amount of water. Some car wash products are particularly damaging to the environment. With a home car wash, however, you can control what you use, and use soaps and cleaners that don’t do as much harm to the environment. Plus, you get a bit of exercise, some sunshine, and maybe a water hose fight. pretty fun.

Therefore, for enhancing the durability of car a high quality wax is the best option.
People who do not use these waxes consider them dangerous for the cars. However, the contents of car wax like carnauba or other natural waxes do not damage the cars. Car wax is easily applicable on the car and you can do it on your own. For ever lasting gloss of the car, instructions given with the product should be carefully followed.

After drying, simply apply your preferred brand of car wax to small sections working from one end to the other. As you apply the product, rub in circular motions using a cloth diaper or terry cloth towel. After the product has dried, using a clean towel begin using circular motions again to remove it, and you will also want to regularly shake the towel out of dried particles. When you begin waxing a dull and drab looking vehicle, you will not believe your eyes at the amount of sparkle and shine you are left with. Paint jobs commonly become drab looking and very dull when they have been left out for extended periods of time in the heat of the sun.
