Waxing your car is as important as cleaning it. A car wash only provides a temporary sparkling look while it is a car wax that actually defends the car paint from the harmful environmental factors. Always remember to wash and dry your car before applying any kind of wax. Before waxing, park your car on a cool spot away from the rays of the sun and never expose it to cold weather.
The Steps
Just take a small amount of wax on a damp sponge and apply it in circles. Apply wax to different sections but remember the path you took. It is also important to realize that wax in the cracks or seams along the hood and doors can harm the functioning of these car parts. After waxing the entire vehicle in patches, take a soft cloth to start cleaning the wax from the initial start point. While cleaning, you will notice that the wax will gradually build up on the cleaning cloth. Don’t forget to shake off the wax, regularly. After polishing, you might notice tiny round spots. You must get rid of the remaining residual wax. The third and the final step is to take another piece of clothing and clean the entire surface of the vehicle to reveal a brand new version of the car you bought.

Before the cold weather comes, we still have a few sunny days left. I am trying to squeeze in as many outdoor activities as possible, as I am sure you are, too. One thing that might not cross your mind as a fun outdoor activity is washing your car. Not only does it provide exercise, and a clean vehicle but it also saves you money in the long run!
The first thing you will need is a hose, preferably with a spray nozzle, attached to some sort of water supply. Typically there is a spot along the outside of your house that will have a faucet you can screw your hose into for water.

But here is how the experts tell you to apply car wax. Wash your car thoroughly first. Do not wax in the direct sunlight or if it is too cold. You want the car surface to feel very smooth before you begin. Use a non abrasive car safe surface cleaner to remove bits of grit from the paint if there is still some present even after washing the car.

The only major difference is that it is an abrasive substance that sticks to the outer frame and makes it shiny. Certain natural colors like red are exposed to the natural sunlight that makes them vulnerable to rust. Car polish acts to preserve the car paint and protects it from getting dull. It should also be noticed that every time the car is painted, a layer of original paint is affected to a certain extent. Always use cotton clothing to polish the car.

This kind of car wax can be applied to a car that is still wet from washing but the shine does not last very long.
What kind of car wax should you use on your car? It depends on the size and age of your car, how much work you are willing to do, and how much time you are willing to put into waxing your car. If your car is only one or two years old, the finish should still be good and you will only need a light spray wax to make it shine. For an older car with a dull finish, using a liquid car wax will clean as well as shine the paint on your car. To save time, using a spray on, wipe off car was is the way to go.

Yet other consumers do not think they have to wax newer cars since they contain a clear coat.
What car wax does can be confusing for consumers. Car wax used to be solely for maintaining the colors of cars. Without car wax colors used to turn from red to orange or black would fade to gray. In the new era the car wax acts as an extra layer of protection and it helps maintain the glossiness of the car.
